BEAUTY OF THE BENGAL

Exhibited at London’s Autograph Gallery, this personal project explores the beautiful complexities of cultural hybridity as a British Bengali.

Often juggling between the two identities and feeling the pressures of compartmentalising with dual identity I wanted to build community throughout this project, not only highlighting my experience but also others of the Diaspora. Ultimately representing this high populated demographic within the UK by creating a documentary photo-series.
